If you think you can smell gas, you shouldn't be reading this! You should contact the gas emergency service, free on 0800 111 999.

Additionally, you should:

Turn off gas supply at meter
Do not use naked flames
Do not smoke
Do not turn electric switches on or off
Open doors and windows
Contact the gas emergency service on 0800 111 999

Contact us if you need help locating a gas escape once the emergency service people have visited and advised you. We can repair escapes on your appliances and pipework, replacing damaged items where necessary.
